The Heart and the Harvest
This past Sunday, we were blessed to welcome a guest pastor from our partner church, The Church at Oakland Park, as he brought us a powerful message from Matthew 9:35–38. Looking at the life and ministry of Jesus, he reminded us that the gospel is not just good advice on how to live—it is the glorious announcement that Christ has won the victory and set us free. As we look at our own cities and neighborhoods, may we see people through the eyes of Jesus, moved with deep compassion for the harassed and helpless, and praying earnestly for laborers to step into the plentiful harvest.
